Why did you start playing paintball? I started to play because of my brother and his friends.
What was the first team you played on? SFU (Slow, Fat, and Ugly)
Who is your favorite paintball player? Federov, well when he was on the Russians
Why did you want to play on DSS? I wanted to take my playing experience to the next level. I wanted to challenge myself and say "Yes I can do it." I knew DSS would take me to that next level and challenge me to be the best.
What does the red jersey mean to you? The Red Jersey means everything to me. It is always the last thing packed into my bag before an event. I have it out the whole time im packing staring at it, getting myself in that mind set, that I’m not leaving that event without wearing that jersey. We work hard for Sunday, and that is what that jersey represents, everything that we have worked for, it is everything!
What kind of job do you have? I work at Hy-vee in the Dairy Department.
Why do you keep playing this sport? I play this sport because of the adrenaline. Everytime that horn blows I just get this full boost of energy. I love the adrenaline rush.
Chic Fil A, In-N-Out, or Whataburger? In-N-Out. Definitely. Chic Fil A second and Whataburger third.
Who is the person you most admire? The person I most admire is my mom, and my grandma that passed away before NEO last year. My grandma, who we called "Nana," always pushed me to go for my goals and not to settle. I carry my Nana’s family crest on my lanyard with my id when I play.
What is it like practice VICIOUS? Are practices really as brutal as they sound? Some days are really bad, like really bad, we would only win maybe 2 points out of 60 that we played. Other days it might be 10. This helps us become better paintball players.
What are some of your other hobbies? Basketball, Family, Friends, Baseball, Football. Pretty much any back yard sport, I'm down.
What is one of your nonpaintball related life goals? I want to work with the K-9 Unit for a police department or SWAT.
What is your favorite paintball moment? There are so many favorites. Everytime I go practice or to an event, it turns into a memorable moment. 2008 World Cup, even though we didn't win, everyone on the team played solid. Also, those town houses were an experience that I will never forget.
If you were stranded on a desert island, who on the team would you want to be stranded with? Don because he has the Gatorade. It's way better then water. HAHAHA!
What is your favorite type of cookie? OH! Julie's cookies are by far the best. Also, I love double chocolate chip.
