Why did you start playing paintball? Went with a friend to a local paintball store, bought a gun before I had even played paintball one time. I know that I would love the sport and wanted to excel. Soon after that I went to a friend's birthday party in 7th grade and have played since.
What was the first team you played on? My first team was with my dad and brother at local 3 Man tournaments. We won maybe 3 games. My first real team was Lost Generation with Jake.
Who is your favorite paintball player? Steve "Jr" Howard, Nick Slowiak, and all of my DSS/VICIOUS teammates.
Why did you want to play on DSS? Last year I was on the outside looking in basically. After 2007, I was not on a winning team and wanted to be. I saw how much fun the kids on DSS had placing and doing really well. I wanted to be on the best team I could so DSS was my goal. I have enjoyed being a part of the team and family very much.
What does the red jersey mean to you? It means more than anything. Once you put it on God basically shines a heavenly light upon you. It means to get dirty and go win for Karen, Carl, and GP.
What kind of job do you have? Construction work for my Dad's company, student, and or course pirate...no homo.
Why do you keep playing this sport? To win events and to be with some of the best friends and people anyone could ask for. Paintball has allowed me to meet so many amazing people.
Chic Fil A, In-N-Out, or Whataburger? Chic Fil A, In-N-Out, and Whataburger....in that order.
Who is the person you most admire? Two of the most influential people in my life, my dad and brother. They have been my life long heroes and always will be. They both do so much for me I can't even explain!
What is it like practice VICIOUS? Are practices really as brutal as they sound? Practicing VICIOUS is a great opportunity. Having the change to play with best Semi-Pro team is really rewarding. Practice are long but definately worth it.
What are some of your other hobbies? Fly fishing, KU basketball, KU football, DIRECTING/RECORDING TEAM VICIOUS INTERVIEWS, spending time with family and friends.
What is one of your nonpaintball related life goals? To finish college. My life long dream would be to marry my girlfriend and move to Cabo San Lucas to open up a deep sea fishing charter and restaurant. Of course Logan, Tyler, Phil, Don, Baker, Casey, Jake, and Patrick would all come work for me.
What is your favorite paintball moment? Texas 2006. Being part of DSS has already given me some awesome memories too.
If you were stranded on a desert island, who on the team would you want to be stranded with? Logan, Phil, or Jake. The rest of the kids are kinda "strange" and I would probably smother them in their sleep.
What is your favorite type of cookie? It is a tie between Desiree George's Chocolate Chip cookies and Julie Bortol's cookies. I could honestly live off of them. If I did I would be too slow to play paintball though. These two people make the best cookies hands down!
